Where to Go Ice Skating in Denver

Boulder Valley Ice at Superior at 125 Superior Plaza Wy. at the Sport Stable is closed New Year’s Day, but they have public skating throughout the day every other day and lots of fun drop in events.  Learn how to skate, play hockey or enjoy special Winter Break activities. You can even drive the Zamboni!!! Check their calendar for times and prices for each activity.


Denver International Airport's Ice Skating Rink opens Friday, November 24, through January 7, at 8500 Peña Blvd. from 9 am to 9 pm. Enjoy a true Colorado winter experience on ice. Admission and skates are free!!!


It is time to start ice skating and you can skate for free at Denver's Skyline Park starting Wednesday, November 22 from 11 am to 7 pm. Skate rental is only $2.


While the opening for the Ice Rink on Evergreen Lake at 29612 Upper Bear Creek Rd. has been delayed due to the warm weather, Evergreen Lake's picturesque location is the perfect place to spin on the ice or play some hockey.  Skates are available to rent and shuttles run from the Wulf Rec Center during peak times.


The Parker Ice Trail at Discovery Park at 20115 E. Mainstreet has opened. Meander along the park and warm up next to any of the three fire pits adjacent to the ice trail, or enjoy hot chocolate while watching skaters pass by. Concessions, skate rental and restroom facilities are available for all patrons visiting the park. The trail is open Monday through Thursday from: 4 pm to 9 pm, Friday from 4 pm to 10 pm, Saturday from 11 am to 10 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm. Children 10 and under are $6, adults are $8 and skate rental is $4. There is a group rate for 10 or more guests of $7.50 each that includes skate rental.


The Ponds at Southlands Ice Skating Rink at 6155 S Main St. is open through late February.  They are open from 4 pm to 9 pm during the week, 4 pm to 10 pm on Friday, 11 am to 10 pm on Saturday and 11 am to 7 pm on Sunday.


The Rink at Belmar at 408 S. Teller St.'s is open for skating until late February. You must have a valid driver’s license or ID to rent skates and helmets are free of charge. For additional safety, helmets are offered FREE of charge. It is $9.50 for adults, $7.50 for children, $5 for military or skating without skate rental and free for seniors 65+ and children under age 2.


South Suburban Ice Arena at 6580 S. Vine St and Family Sports Ice Arena at 6901 S. Peoria St. lets you discover the joy of ice skating. Admission is $6 for residents and $8 for non-residents.


WinterSkate on 13th St. between Canyon and Arapahoe. Rates including skates are $10 for adults, $9 for children 12 and under, $8 for 65+ and college students and military with ID and $4 for children 3 and younger. If you bring your own skates admission is $5 off.
