It is time to hit the gym and fulfill those 2018 New Year’s resolutions!!!  But with so many gyms and so many deals, what do you get and what is the best deal around town???  Here is a list of a few of Denver’s biggest gyms and the deals they are currently offering to help you make your selection when trying to find the right fit for you.  Remember, most clubs offer a free trial pass.  Take advantage of these passes to make sure you find the right fit for you!!!  There is also the option of your neighborhood recreation centers and if you live in Denver children and seniors can take advantage of the My Denver Card for kids and the My Denver Prime Card as well.


24 Hour Fitness has locations across town making it convenient to find a place to work out near your home or office.  To get the new year started off right too, they are offering a $0 initiation fee on All-Club Monthly Payment memberships which range from $29.99 to $79.99 a month depending on the type of club you join and the location.  Plus you can add friends of family for as low as $29.99 a month too.


Anytime Fitness is offering a deal for the new year with only $1 to join. They also have new personal training options as low as $65 a month to keep you motivated and to help you achieve your goals.  Until January 12, 2018, you also get a free personal trainer appointment with your enrollment.  Your membership includes a fitness consultation, a personalized 30-day fitness plan and complimentary access to the Anytime Fitness App that gives you access to over 1000 workouts as well as goal setting and tracking tools, designed to offer you support wherever your day takes you.  Monthly membership fees range from $33.95 to $38.95 a month plus $35 for a key fob to allow you access.


Burn Boot Camp has free trial weeks frequently so that you can check out the workouts and make sure it is a fit for you.  Their high intensity workouts also change regularly so that your body continues to burn calories and build muscles efficiently. They focus on Whole Foods nutrition and a healthy lifestyle. Membership prices vary per location and will range from $99 to $199 per month when you join.


Colorado Athletic Club is regarded as the premier athletic club in Denver and the price reflects that with the membership starting price tag of $175 a month which does not include the initiation fee. The offer over 140,000 feet at their main club complete with indoor track, complete basketball court, racquetball, tennis and squash, many fitness programs, certified massage therapy, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a full service café.


Fitness in the City is an affordable option in the heart of downtown that offers complete workouts including calisthenics, plyometrics, strength and cardiovascular training.  Their pricing ranges from $70 a month for new clients or $260 with four personal training sessions including three free yoga classes per month at the River or $139 month to month for existing members with discounts offered for prepayment.


Lifetime Fitness is another premier fitness club that offers classes, training sports, events, health and wellness, a spa and a café. Pricing ranges from $79 a month to $110 a month for an individual membership depending on your location and also includes an initiation fee.  Services and amenities vary per club.  If you join now, you also receive two one-hour personal training sessions, $150 LT Buck$ to spend on any service Lifetime offers including personal training, spa services, swim lessons and more, a one hour onboarding session including goal setting, equipment introduction, a personalized workout and one month of free kids’ group swim lessons for all children added to your membership.


Planet Fitness is also offering a $1 down membership for the new year.  Monthly membership is $39 for one location and is month-to-month or $39 to use any club with a 12 month commitment.  With the 12 month commitment you also get unlimited use of the Hydromassage chairs, use of tanning, unlimited body enhancement, ½ price cooler drinks, a PF Black Card tshirt, a PF Black Card key tag, 20% off Reebok products and Wifi.


Prestige Fitness is a locally owned and operated total body fitness club.  They offer a wide selection of classes and many amenities.  Right now they are offering rates as low as $7.99 a month membership fee at the Centennial, Aurora and Lakewood locations. Normally an individual fee is $19.95 a month. The Arvada locations rates are higher.  The initiation fee is $99.


Vasa Fitness is new to the Denver market and already making their mark in the area.  With a full workout facility including pool, tanning, a cardio cinema room, racquetball courts, Hydromassage chairs and more. They offer a variety of classes, personal training, and include an app that allows you to track your workouts, participate in club challenges and link to many of the popular fitness tracking devices and apps.  Right now it is $9.99 a month with a $49.95 initiation fee for one club or $19.99 a month with a $9.99 initiation fee to use any club.  After two months, they also charge a $49.95 rate lock fee to guarantee that your prices do not go up.


YMCA is the go-to for affordable gyms and with locations across Denver, you can find a location that works for you.  They are a community focused service that offers recreational programs and services for all ages.  Right now you can join with no initiation fee. Rates run from $19 a month for students to $72 a month for families.  There are discounts for senior and military.
